Jax Cyber Security Council
The Jax Cyber Security Council was founded in 2015 with 10 members and as of 2020 grown to over 40 members. Each member is the local senior security leader for their organization.
We provide an environment and network for local senior security leaders to collaborate with peers sharing ideas, questions, challenges, and lessons learned with the goal of helping each other improve the security programs of each of our organizations enabling us to reduce risk more efficiently and effectively.
Peer networks are an important tool in information security leadership. The original premise being: if you have a security question or challenge it is likely that others have as well and already solved it. Working together we can accomplish more and execute it faster.
The Northeast Florida CIO Council is proud to spotlight this important group and the united focus on cyber security for our organizations.
